Terms of use

Summary in plain English. This box is not part of the terms. The numbered sections below are what apply.

  • This site describes our services. Any work we do for you is under a separate signed agreement.
  • We quote each project separately. Your price is the one in your signed Statement of Work.
  • Please use the site fairly: no hacking, overloading, spam, or pretending to be someone else.
  • The cost calculator gives estimates. It isn't a promise.
  • Our liability for this free site is limited, as section 9 explains.

These terms cover your use of pyzen.app (the "site"). The site is run by Pyzen ("we", "us"), which is operated by its founder. The legal entity is being formed, and its name, address and company number will be added here.

By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. What the site is

The site describes Pyzen's services and lets you book a call or contact us. Nothing on it is an offer you can accept. Any work we do for you is governed by a separate signed agreement: our Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement wins.

2. Prices

We don't publish prices on the site, and nothing on it is a quote. Your price is the fixed price in your signed Statement of Work. Taxes are extra where they apply.

3. Using the site

You may browse, read, and share links to the site. You agree not to:

  • break the law using the site, or help anyone else do so
  • try to get into systems or data you are not allowed to access, or test the site's security without our written permission
  • overload or disrupt the site, including with automated traffic that ignores robots.txt
  • send malware, spam, or anything unlawful through the contact form
  • pretend to be someone else when you contact us

If you think you've found a security issue, please tell us at hello@pyzen.app. We are grateful for good-faith reports.

4. Our content

We (or our licensors) own the text, design, graphics, code, and logos on the site. You may quote short passages with a link back. You may not copy the site, or substantial parts of it, for commercial use without our permission.

"Pyzen" and the Pyzen logo are our trademarks. Please don't use them in a way that suggests we endorse you.

5. Estimates and calculators

  • The cost calculator gives estimates, not promises. Its results depend on the numbers you enter and on assumptions we explain next to it. Real results depend on your process, your systems and your data. Don't rely on it as financial advice.
  • General information on the site, such as articles and use-case descriptions, is not professional, legal, tax or financial advice.

6. What you send us

When you book a call or send us a message, you confirm that what you send is accurate and that you are allowed to share it. Please don't send us confidential information, or other people's personal data, before we have signed an agreement with you. If you need to show us something sensitive, ask us for an NDA first.

7. Other sites and services

The site links to, or embeds, services run by others. For example, the site is hosted by Cloudflare, and online booking runs on Cal.com. We don't control those services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

8. Availability

We try to keep the site available and correct, but we provide it "as is". We may change, pause, or remove any part of it at any time. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud.

Subject to that:

  • we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the free site that you could not reasonably have foreseen, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business or data; and
  • our total liability to you in connection with the site is limited to USD 100.

These limits apply only to the site. Liability for client work is set out in the signed agreement for that work.

If you use the site as a consumer, you also keep any rights the law of your country gives you that cannot be excluded.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page, with its effective date, is the one that applies. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply to that use.

11. Law and disputes

Pyzen's legal entity is being formed. Until it exists, these terms don't choose a governing law or courts, and the ordinary legal rules decide them. If you use the site as a consumer and the law of your country lets you bring a claim where you live, you keep that right. When the entity exists, we'll name the governing law and courts here and update the effective date.
